Mise-en-scene

This is a mind map of our ideas about the Mise-en-scene for our music video. This includes the props that we will be using which include such things as the instruments that the artist Ellie Goulding uses and the way in which we want the video to look. The location is also a big part of this mind map as we want to use quite a few locations to express different areas that are quite mystical and we want to create this sense of fantasy. Also shown on here is the costumes and colours that we will use, this includes the costumes of the extras and who will be playing Ellie Goulding. We have decided that this will be me as I have similar costumes that we have seen her in along with this it means that we do not have to rely on anyone else when we want to shoot for reasons such as they are busy etc. We created this plan together and brought all our ideas into this, this may mean that some of these ideas may not work or we do not have the ability to create the idea in mind but if this is the case I will mention it later in my blog.

The locations are as seen below, they all are quite close to each other and will mean that accessing them will not be too hard. They all have different aspects to them, this includes the greenery from the South Downs, with lots of hills and trees. Then we have the Sea near the cliffs so we gain the whiteness of the chalk against the blue/green sea and the pebbles. This will create a really beautiful setting. Another setting we want to use is streets and a bedroom, these will be in more urban areas involving streets, we will be using Lewes streets for these.
